Tax Efficiency & Coordination

Helping owners think more intentionally about cash flow, reinvestment, and long-term financial direction.

Most owners have a CPA who files and an advisor who invests, and the two have never spoken. Tax work at Cornerstone is about the decisions made before the return is filed, not after.

Working through drawings and numbers by hand

This may sound familiar…

Growing, but still carrying too much.

“You rarely feel completely off.”

01Everything still runs through you

02You're making most of the key decisions

03The business slows down when you step away

04Systems are inconsistent or in your head

05Growth adds pressure, not relief

06Personal finances are still too tied to business cash flow

What we actually do

See the whole picture. Get the professionals talking. Plan the year, not the deadline.

Step 01

See the whole picture

Business entity, owner compensation, equipment, retirement plan, and personal return, looked at together rather than one at a time.

Step 02

Get the professionals talking

We bring your CPA into the same conversation as the planning, so the tax work informs the structure and not the other way around.

Step 03

Plan the year, not the deadline

Decisions about reinvestment, distributions, and timing get made while there is still time to make them.

Where we work

Questions about this service

The short answers.

Do you replace my CPA?

No. We work with the CPA you already have. If you do not have one, we can point you toward firms that understand construction accounting.

Do you give tax advice?

We do not offer tax or legal advice. We coordinate the professionals who do, and make sure the planning and the tax work are pointed in the same direction.

You don’t fix this at the end. You fix it in how the business is built.
